If I had any money in my pocket it would be a different thing. If I had a lot of money in my pockets, I'd donate it. But I have been struggling to get by my whole life, and the way everything keeps going up... Would it be too much to ask that rent be indexed to minimum wage?

It's not even that they think Dems can win more votes on the margin by auto-registering everyone constantly...
Oregon's a solidly blue state. Liberals built these automatic voter registration systems not because they'd swing anything but honestly because they're fully in the grip of the cult of democracy.
They really truly believe that maximizing voting participation is terminally good in-and-of-itself.

But registering to vote gets people killed.

And, from day 1 - in 2026, yes - it only works on OS images allowlisted by two American companies, Google and Apple. Sanctioned by the US government, like e.g. the ICC judges? Can't use your _German_ digital driver's license.
In any sane society this would have been flagged as a massive issue and have simply stopped the app from launching in the first place.

Firstly, Bethesda is microsoft. microsoft desires for AI to succeed. Of course they're going to pump their most anticipated video game full of it.
Secondly, It's always been Bethesda's dream to have a game that never ends. Radiant quests, they called it - "Go to x, and bring me y". Play for ever! They'll do the same thing, but it'll be real AI now!
Also the game will now need a subscription, so you can pay for the tokens to generate your daily fetch quests.

Chromebooks are ubiquitous, and Google is their default search engine. In many cases, other search providers are blocked on the device, so switching to DuckDuckGo isn't a solution.
A properly functioning Dept of Education, FCC, and Antitrust Division would come down on this like a battleship dropped from orbit.
