@jk I remember noticing similar in the area surrounding Waterloo train station in London - really run down area with a major transport hub in a capital city. Bonkers. Land values completely dislocated from reality stifling any development of what should be a prime location.
@toerror i wonder what the story is behind that small house that's right by the railway arch in front of waterloo. it's always seemed completely inexplicable to me

Fantastic idea but I have always thought that more than a lack of tools, the problem is the cost of hosting in the case of development, and the difficulty of monetization in the case of peertube-type content creators. But hey, it’s my idea, maybe I’m wrong and projects like this are sure to help a lot.

Sollte man dann trotzdem keine KI nutzen, nur weil die Ärzte das Erkennen von krankhaftem Gewebe mangels Übung verlernen?
@framlin dann sollte es Forschungsarbeiten dazu geben, wo welche Methoden wirklich Netto-Vorteile bringen, und die sollten getrennt von den KI-Anbietern aufgebaut werden, um Werkzeuge zu haben, die nicht diese inhärenten Strukturen haben.
Von Anbietern, die nicht die Anreize haben, Ärzte abhängig zu machen.
Ist ja nicht so, als ginge das nicht.
Ist aber nicht die aktuelle Realität, du kannst dich also nicht einfach selbst dafür entscheiden.

A few years ago I was at a Doctor Who event at Manchester Metropolitan University. I'd been having a bit of a difficult time. It was a really lovely event but sometimes being in a room full of people who are having a good time, and having expected you would be having one too, can leave you feeling a bit deflated.
From across the room, a man spoke to me. He called me over and we chatted for a minute or two. Not about anything in particular, no sage life advice was imparted, but I started to feel better. There was no reason for him to have even noticed me. It was a busy event. He saw someone feeling sad, and without making a fuss he let them know they weren't alone.
At the end of our conversation, he handed me this and wished me well. It was just a brief meeting, but such a kind and thoughtful thing to do.
He will be missed.

IDK we probably won't ever see her again in the news, hope the last hurrah was fun for her.
