Spur of the moment listening party coming up for my Metamorph album that was originally released back in 2025, but as I am filling out my Bandcamp catalogue I thought it would be a good occasion to host a listening party.

Happening on November 21st at 2:00 PM EST (19:00 UTC).

Come hang out and listen through the album with me. Also, I'll be sure to provide some additional exclusive lore 😉

@ColinTheMathmo @virtuosew I should be clearer:
Problem: should you accept?
Potential soln: yes, but to a different format.

Perhaps other reasons why this may not solve your particular instance. But I value outreach to students and (what I learned) of Bollobas' work. So had to chime in. Hope you find a nice soln!

@fesshole you are providing a valuable public service.

@mason@partychickens.net Upgrading from 16.0 to 16.1 moves the default kernel form one with a patch for the latest TCP vulnerability to one without the patch. And there is no patched kernel for 16.1 yet. Thankfully I can just boot with the old one, but it's still a gigantic WTF.

*rubbing eyes* I stated this indistinctly.

There is a target CoreCompile. dotnet.exe runs this automatically.

We have our own targets, A, B, C, D. A, B and C are listed as AfterTarget="CoreCompile". D is listed as AfterTarget "A,B,C,D".

At this exact moment, what I believe is that I have stated an ordering where if you compile A, B, or C, you must build D after that, but I have not stated ANY dependency such that D must be *delayed* until A, B and C have completed.

@dianea 💯!!! Just imagine we are playing a game called called Save The Nation. You start with a country that is run by politicians controlled by billionaire fascists, and you need to win an election to remove them from power. What you DON'T do next is hand power over to other politicians who are controlled by the same billionaire fascists. That would be a very bad move.

About to play a show.

I’m very happy

@GeoffWozniak So many wannabe media (and other) moguls repeatedly shooting themselves in the dick and wondering aloud why it hurts. *snork*

@tautology Wow. Above the dog's pay grade :)

Whenever I stay in a hotel I look up the TV Hotel Mode Unlock Code, go in to the channel guide and delete GB News. It's even easier to do in an AirBnB. It's a very satisfying feeling. I recommend it.

Got a little more wordcount than I expected for a Saturday, and am calling it good. A cuppa, the couch, and a history book are whispering my name.

Epic.

Hey, special follow recommendation today! Laura JG is an older artist and art historian who has just moved to a new account:

➡️ @LauraJG

You can find out more about her art on her website at https://www.laurajeannegrimes.com

Laura's old server closed down too quickly to transfer her followers, so if you were following her before you need to manually follow the new account above. (That's why I'm doing a special shoutout for her, to help her reconnect with her followers!)

A very informative video on the typeface used in Sonic 1. Something I've not really thought about compared to 2 & 3, but still really remarkable. https://youtu.be/IQB06fb51OU?si=dAOrkZxNrzKnEoZP

@dansup
Wow, that's crazy. France has taken good measures. For instance, pet shops can no longer sell dogs and cats.
When you adopt, you can't take the animal home right away. You have to wait 7 days.
All of this is to avoid impulse decisions that can lead to new abandonments.
But what you describe is too much IMO. It discourages people from adopting.

@carnage4life Piggy didn't like that question.
