@PhoenixSerenity
I am a musician, and I am anti-fascist. However, only a small percentage of my music is anti-fascist, because nobody wants me to play that stuff. I have tried for decades to get the IWW to pay me to go somewhere and play they want me to just volunteer my time and money that I don't have.
@bardmoss I don't know many musicians who earn any money playing antifascist music - rare when it does happen. I do know many musicians who play for free when they want to because making music isn't their main livelihood. That's almost every band here.
I have also seen bigger bands like Midnight Oil spend their own funds to play in middle of nowhere for free to support frontline activists & they donated lots of funds before going back to Australia too.
At heart of antifascism is a shared core of anticapitalism. If capitalism evils weren't so massively awful for society, every musician(and everyone else too) would be financial secure & not financially stressed out. They would to be able to play for free, simply for the joys of sharing music, without capitalism.
