I've just pushed ton of fixes for Libervia, the code is nearly good for alpha release. ActivityPub Gateway is fixed and doc is fully updated (on repos, not on official website yet), Audio/Video component has been updated to follow new spec, lot of work on web frontend.

You can try web frontend with this one-liner:

Reposting, or rather, cross-posting, is fine and it’s the correct way to do things in the Fediverse. A post can be relevant to different communities because each one has their own cultural take on a given subject.

What we need is clients that present a better interface to view (and resume) that relationship, but that’s not on you, let alone on the people who create content for the Fediverse. We want there to be more of it (and more varied), not less.

Another bit: in a TMUX session, as a normal user the shell reports something like bash 5.1.16 (tmux). But if you su - to switch to root in the same session, the tmux bit is gone. I check the script where it detects whether the TMUX env exists, and yes it is gone after su. But I would think there will be another way?

I spent too much time last night searching old hard drives for art I never properly posted online. A reminder I need to be better about sharing my art on my blog so I can find it later.

I expect that the big push to abolish the Electoral College will now come from Republicans who realize that "Texas flipped blue and Florida is probably next" means that under the Electoral College system there will not be another Republican president in their lifetimes.
