OK now here are the same options but I'm asking, when limited to these choices, which of the following mattered most to you personally?
(you don't need to be able to vote in US elections to participate in either poll, I'm curious what everyone thinks about both.)
I suspect the results of these polls will be different. Everyone has certain ideas about what "the people" (all those people out there... the masses et al) think. And it's never exactly the same as what individuals seem to think.
We can say "it's about the economy" but in some places it was about the brutal immigration policy. The sense of betrayal many anti-war Republicans felt... and many other things.
