think you might have pests in your attic? cut away a small square of the ceiling below, and wait until it's dark. if you can see a red light flickering through the gap in the floorboards, then it's almost certainly mice. the light comes from the optical sensor which is on the underside of the mouse

Nerd tech/space guy, real estate and reality tv guy, and they both keep making financial failure after financial failure of projects, and yet people just keep giving them money out of pure "this guy is soooo rich so he must know what he's doing" momentum

The difference between Open Source and Free Software is not defined by copyleft. So simplest test would be to check if users can actually use the modified version or not.
So far I only know about the #Tivo example which clearly distinguish between both philosophies. Copyleft cannot do that as both philosophies treat copyleft as option requirement in base definition. (1/2)

@AkaSci Understood. No doubts about Judiciary leaders like Jamie Raskin and Ted Lieu aggressively pursuing accountability. What we need is a Speaker that not only permits them to do their job, but leads with initiative and drives public support. The notion that the Speaker's job is not to speak should be rejected.
Feel like we need to avoid the trap of being convinced that these things are too arcane. Leaders need to lead. Simple as that.
