Cybertruck production to end https://www.wired.com/story/rip-cybertruck-you-were-unloved-unwanted-and-utterly-absurd/
And because people just love to keep giving this guy money to make new bad ideas, the production is ending to make way for... the Cybercab, an even worse designed thing
@cwebber fue una porqueria de auto a veces las mentes brillantes fallan!
@cwebber "The end of an error". This editor had a field day.
It's not surprising that Trump and Musk both teamed up and also hated each other. Destined frenemies: they're basically the same guy, just rooted in different business domains. Nerd tech/space guy, real estate and reality tv guy, and they both keep making financial failure after financial failure of projects, and yet people just keep giving them money out of pure "this guy is soooo rich so he must know what he's doing" momentum
@cwebber a big part of money lending calculus is, "will they be able to pay it back later". I would argue that something both of them are highly skilled at is convincing people-with-money-to-lend that the answer is yes despite all evidence to the contrary.
@dthompson that would be way cooler
@cwebber
They produced these for longer than like a month?
