@tante I can definitely recommend Qobuz

@evan @europeanspodcast this looks to be a good match!

Yes, our software solution is very expensive, and it came several months, if not years, behind schedule. But can you request new features for it? No. Will the developers action bug fixes and updates before the company is bought out and shut down? No. Is it bug free? Of course not.

But, does it perform better, in a more secure, more flexible, extensible and compliant way, with fewer errors, than Angela From Accounts' macros that have been running on an Excel file since 2003? Also no.

I miss Guizzy and my baby bunny 😞

@lanodan @navi @SRAZKVT oh hello :D

tbh the whole magic of werge is that it breaks the stuff into words, throws that to the usual diff/diff3 and tries to glue the stuff back; haskell is there because very comfy. You might do same in shell ig (won't generalize well but if it's a single shot merge for you, might work)

So I updated #Pixelfed on https://instafops.net to 0.15.2 to bring it back online. But now it can't federate with other ActivityPub servers on my own RFC1918 network (including this Mastodon server).

I hope there's an environment flag I can set to fix this, because this is pretty annoying.

This is the kind of funding the Fediverse actually needs. Better tools are great, but without people making things worth watching or listening to, we’re just building increasingly elegant infrastructure for arguing about infrastructure. Pairing creators with developers is a genuinely smart move.

Fantastic idea but I have always thought that more than a lack of tools, the problem is the cost of hosting in the case of development, and the difficulty of monetization in the case of peertube-type content creators. But hey, it’s my idea, maybe I’m wrong and projects like this are sure to help a lot.
