It turns out that when the web site said they would respond to my request within two business days, what it meant was that within two business days they would send me an email saying they would respond to my request within two business days.
A new LLM-powered scam: research an author, research a publication they write for, research the title of something they've written, register a similar gmail address, go phishing.

Is there a way to not see duplicate of the same topic across different communities?
Hi everyone!
I’m really enjoying the Fediverse through Lemmy and Peertube.
One creator I enjoy and follow on the Fediverse is Gardiner Bryant as his content is really enjoyable.
Sadly he ´s the target of my post as he shares his content on many different communities that I follow.
Today I had 5 times the same topic on RetroDeck (great project too) on my feed on Lemmy (Voyager).
It is the same on PieFed (Interstellar).
This is really annoying and I haven’t found a way to not show these duplicates. Do you know about one or is it worked on?
Also when crossposting, it would be great if everything appeared under on post. Is it feasible?
Sorry if it’s easy and I just missed it. In a way I hope it is because it would mean that the Fediverse is festure rich😇

Ah, that's where I can't help I guess, as someone who doesn't use mobile apps.
Yeah I checked and as you can see with these Lemmy and PieFed printscreens, it’s really the mobile apps which are not taking car of the issue.

so @gfsc are thinking about starting a livestream and:
- the blog is already federating from Ghost, and kind of okay but feels abandoned
- our legacy podcast is stuck on Spotify for Podcasters
- our stream we've been doing on twitch
our overall content concept is a well-formed regular stream with guests on talking aboutpost-billionaire technology
so we could really use some cash to think about how we can co-stream it to fedi and how it would integrate with or replace what we already have without a pile of silos
but that doesnt really fit the shape of the form which seems to hint at wanting one change to one piece of software. we need thinking time before we can work out what to build
