There's a bug I have on Fedora Silverblue since forever: when the computer get out of sleep, the system time gets slightly off by a few seconds or minutes plus the different with UTC is doubled (so instead of +1 in winter and +2 in summer, it's +2 and +4), and the system feels weirdly wobbly. I work around this by going to the system settings, disabling and re-enabling automatic time to sync it anew (the problem happens even when it is disabled).
I don't have it on GNOME OS, I'm free! 😄

Doomerism is both lazy and egotistical. It's the belief of people who can't be bothered to do anything for others unless they can be a hero and save the world, which never happens, because they're above doing small things. So they have constructed a justification for just sitting around and moping.

Been having a rough couple of brain days, just a lot of vibratingly busy brain to the point where it spills over into bodily restlessness and throbs of shapeless anxiety, and close to nil ability to make myself do things that need doing or even fall into the pleasant distraction of things that don’t but that I ordinarily like.
It happens, it’s transient, it’ll be better tomorrow or the next day or the next. Just keep reminding myself that. Fuckin’ brains, man.

If you're reluctant to vote because you don't feel like your vote has any influence on the outcome, may I suggest voting out of spite?
As in, think of a relative or coworker who has the opposite political views as you. Want to ruin their day? Your vote would counteract and nullify any miniscule effect their vote might have had. Vote as a sort of "fuck you" to the assholes in your life.
Rock musicians have a similar problem, as anyone can attest who has felt the reaction of the crowd at a show when the band says they’re now going to play some new material they’ve been working on

Uhm, have you seen the amount of Spam, Phishing, Hacking, no replies we get on E-Mail?!? How is that working properly? It even cancels my attachments etc. And admins have to put in a massive amount of effort. Instant messenging isn’t great either. Neither is Facebook, X, TikTok and all the other central for-profit social media platforms?!!
