The vibe in France is bleak. I'm quite scared for tomorrow to be real, with the government threatening to call in the army. One last drawing before heading into the fire.

@diegodlh place in Leipzig, https://leila-leipzig.de/ seems to use myturn.com - no idea.

But actually, that would be my recommendation - to find other places doing what you're looking to do and copy them. In German, the term is "Leihladen"... Oh, this!! https://datengraben.com/notes/list-of-leihladen/

"Because I also care deeply about this, I am sharing here my attempt at a comprehensive list of so called “Leihladen” software, with the focus on open-source solutions."

Obligatory french version pour les camarades.

Trump will probably be looking at the prediction markets to see when to change his mind.

@lina alas this didn't play so well with the tar decompression crates by those who adopted the past months and had some terrible vulnerabilities 😞 (yes I know it's not memory safety and proper domain modeling would have avoided them but still hurts)

Wenn junge Leute protestieren, werden wir das kaum beachten.
Wenn sie dabei Dinge zerstören, werden wir uns unendlich empören.
Wir werden nicht beachten, was wir ihnen alles zerstört haben.

I had several doctors appointments, blood tests and a scan of my head because I kept having one pupil larger than the other. But it turned out to just be the difference in prescription on my lenses giving the illusion of a difference. Can't tell my wife.

@tchaten fancy!

@digitalguardian @container5573 No, that has nothing to do with desktop mode. GrapheneOS itself can use an external monitor, mouse, keyboard and other peripherals directly. It doesn't need another computer involved. What you're doing has nothing to do with desktop mode. You're using a third party tool via debugging functionality we recommend against using on a production device. Giving a much less secure computer access to the device via ADB is not recommended outside development/debugging use.

@jacksonchen666 yes, but as far as I can tell, unlike brotli, it is used much wider outside of fb.

@diegodlh what's the state of @flukx these days?

And here is the audio podcast: https://podcast.thelinuxexp.com/@tlenewspodcast/episodes/torvalds-goes-full-ai-mode-kernel-73-bitwarden-pushes-their-commercial-license

As usual, you can follow it here straight from the Fediverse @tlenewspodcast, or you can subscribe to it from any good podcast client !

@diegodlh ah, I should know...

So let me get it clear: a platform for displaying, borrowing and sharing tools? Like a tool/thing library?

Did anyone manage to hack @karrot to do this? @nathaliesz @nick ? Perhaps you also have a better overview of what's out there now.

@FediTips
Thanks!
I suspected as much, but wanted to makes sure. I'm planning an app with this functionality (specifically, I want it to create scheduled posts when a user publishes new content - like a new drawing - in the place that the app monitors), and this info is useful to define the scope: scheduled posts are already a part of Mastodon functionality, so my future code needs to implement templates + talking to Mastodon API for scheduling the post.
