Anyone knows of a tool like @inventaire, but for sharing tools (e.g. drill, wrenches, soldering iron, etc.) in a community?
¿Alguien conoce alguna herramienta tipo @inventaire, pero para compartir herramientas (ej., taladro, llaves, soldador, etc) en una comunidad?
@maxlath? @douginamug? @davidcoronel? Any ideas?
@douginamug @diegodlh If you are referring to [flinventory](https://codeberg.org/workshopinventory) there is no obvious way to use it for sharing tools between people, I'd say.
@diegodlh place in Leipzig, https://leila-leipzig.de/ seems to use myturn.com - no idea.
But actually, that would be my recommendation - to find other places doing what you're looking to do and copy them. In German, the term is "Leihladen"... Oh, this!! https://datengraben.com/notes/list-of-leihladen/
"Because I also care deeply about this, I am sharing here my attempt at a comprehensive list of so called “Leihladen” software, with the focus on open-source solutions."
List of Leihladen
This posting describes the list of software that is open-source and in active use to facilitate initiatives that let humans lend things to other humans.
There are different concepts for organized networks of collective sharing, Library of things are literally called in Germany Bibliothek der Dinge, or similiar Leihladen or older Ludothek or in Sweden they are called Fritidsbanken.
At least for Germany I know there is a active community of people, that care about these networks and create or curate information about them. Though the different actors come in different forms, some with non-profit background, some of them with active funding or some even with commercial appliances.
@douginamug I am confused: the linked page describes that @chris wants it Open-Source but then the table is on some weird webpage that requires setting up an account just for viewing the table? I feel like I am missing something.

@diegodlh ah, I should know...
So let me get it clear: a platform for displaying, borrowing and sharing tools? Like a tool/thing library?
Did anyone manage to hack @karrot to do this? @nathaliesz @nick ? Perhaps you also have a better overview of what's out there now.
