turns out in professional opera, no one worth taking seriously uses the term "contralto". My teacher, a pro soprano, won't touch it. We agree my speaking voice rests at E3. we have identified my 1st passaggio as C4 and 2nd passaggio as A4. I have demonstrated great coloratura facility and have a bright timbre. Thinking I had her cornered, I said, that is not a mezzo. Which leaves only one possibility....

I hope I will still be able to maintain #Fedilab for all Android devices, especially the oldest ones.
That's why I chose not to use some libraries that would raise the minimum Android version, so the app still works on devices from 2014.
To avoid encryption issues, Fedilab uses the Conscrypt library to install a modern security provider on devices that are no longer maintained.
Not everyone runs the latest Android version or has a recent device, and I am proud to take care of these users.

Wait how many of my "I don't understand why the syntax is blowing up on me" incidents of writing this program have this been. Like how often have I thought I was using a "do" block with return value `-> IO (List a)` but it actually had somehow derived it was return value `-> List a` so it was magically interpreting the "do" as the List monad instead of the IO monad and then something freakish happened and produced a type error I couldn't understand.

well it sure isn’t perfect but it’s not terrible and i definitely made mistakes so there’s lots more room for improvement
