There's an emoji picker feature that I assume has some sort of bug causing it to be missing most of the emojis, but it's funny thinking about if it were actually intentional and someone decided that 🍋🟩🍄🟫 is all the food section really needs.
I don't need this because I have Windows Key + Period, but I assume this is here because not every Linux distro will have an emoji picker built in or easy to access by default.
@NovaSquirrel slightly related, re linux emoji pickers: on my set-up on GNOME, i get two emoji pickers
one, presumably supplied by GNOME, is activated via ctrl+period and looks more like you'd expect
the other is apparently part of ibus, which i use for occasional japanese text entry, is activated by winkey+period and by default asks for a keyword, but i can hit "space" and still get a categorized list

So this clip went viral. I was shown it tonight, told it was very bad how he responded. My immediate read was that #AbdulElSayed was trying to talk to voters just before the polls closed. You can see the sky getting darker. I've seen him do a great job talking to confrontational journalists at other times. He was emotional at the end of the race. The journalist said he didn't even know AES would be there, while AES said he'd been following him around. Who's lying?

@strypey @norightturnnz My personal opinion is that Greens need to hold the line on the wealth tax and follow through: sit on cross bench if he refuses. You want a "mandate"? By definition you'll have one if you are able to form a government with the Greens. We have been crystal clear on wealth tax the whole campaign and even before.
Wealth tax or don't be PM, Hipkins.
