@mcc Runs my blog flawlessly and very fast.

scy: "I'll take that as a no."

@futurebird I quite liked OpenIntro Statistics (free, but I ended up buying the book). I came to it as an old engineer trying to learn enough to follow data science conversations.

@johnhattan

@tranquil_cassowary @ne_ We're defending our users from companies and governments with access to more advanced non-public models without the same restrictions placed on our usage of the public models. Those companies and governments are also spending many orders of magnitude more money on AI tokens.

Google spends plenty of compute on security but they're not investing enough in security and their priorities are incredibly different. They take a long time to fix most serious issues they find.

@jalefkowit Which one do you mean? I've lost count.

@fesshole Single guy here: is 4 uses of a towel unusual? 🤷‍♂️

Sorry not sorry but if you spam my entire timeline with posts that literally spam the same word over and over again I'm unfollowing you, lol. Don't waste my time.

@itsfoss okay.Well, I want you to look up your life path number, so you'll have to look up the calculator for that.It'll teach you how to do it like.For example i'm number 3

@ascentale @rand @bikenite Definitely bike more. Part of that is that while we are near an important transit corridor, the train lines opening have been incredibly attractive and bike+train (a train I can take the bike onto so keep using) has really blown away bike interest.

I think the train stations that opened where we used to live were closer enough that we'd be more likely to walk and bus to them. But I can't be sure, that might've also turned into the same as here.

@dansup Where were you with this earlier in the year. This is why I built FediDeck bc there wasn't this app! LOL

@chris

I would love to know what exactly the sales pitch was. Because so far the Canadian government hasn't articulated anything other the usual vague tech bro generalizations.

Very weird. Especially since all the other more mundane IT provisions such as email, storage, hosting accounting systems etc. also need to be repatriated. Arguably more urgently.

Don’t forget, tonight the moon will be visible from Earth. The last time this happened was last night.

@jwildeboer @toots@fairy.id

Ditto. Bye @toots

@adlerweb What am I even looking at?
