ICE agents: search a crowd sourced ICE agent list for their own names from their work computers.

Our ICE List website got hammered by traffic from Department of Homeland Security servers yesterday and overnight.

Upon review of that traffic, a number of agents appear to have searched for themselves, revealing their names to us, which we had not previously known.

This regime is perhaps the dumbest to ever regime.

@ohiofi Did @devilgirlbot get hacked?

@ramsey @devilgirlbot No, she didn’t get hacked she’s just got a few bugs. I thought I had fixed the give_warnings script tonight, but alas no. Also had a Mars Madness bug where image uploads were timing out, so it skipped a day.

Anyway, thank you for the “heads up”

The software is almost completely irrelevant. It’s all about the story archive. Given Lemmy’s observed distaste for edgy content, I don’t think a federated AO3-like repo is likely to fly, but I’d love to be proven wrong. It might be preferable to have a straightforward mirror if that can be arranged with AO3.

@hacks4pancakes Wholeheartedly agree, they built a fantastic service to be then forced to compromise their own hard labor in service to someone clearly suffering from moderate/severe AI psychosis

I’ve been a #GroundNews subscriber for years but I’m giving it up at renewal. It was helpful in trying to get away from Google News and I liked the bias meter. But the quality has gone down, they now want me to pay $100/year vs the $60 I’ve been used to. Email support seems LLM, or a person who doesn’t care. AND they insist on loading articles in their in-app browser which doesn’t block ads and tracker. Woof!

@ai6yr Could be or they have new crew and they will do some dissimilar field training and pattern work in busy but different airspace

it also could be checking trim and balance if they say moved the 2000 gallon bronzer tank POTUS uses on trips

Oh wow, i didn’t know that! Would that make it easier to potentially make like an actual real federated AO3??

I know that both Ao3 , and SqWA, both use the same OTW Code

I’ve been wishing for a federated AO3 for ages 😝

Could maybe start from a fork of WriteFreely or even ibis.wiki. The actual long form reading/writing part probably isn’t the hardest problem, the very sophisticated tagging is, right?
