@aral here for this! You have a great voice (along with the ability to just let go and rip). Happy first week of the 50s

@sun Yeah should've not given their reason. Just it's my time off i'm taking it.

To be fair I knew kids who skipped school for Halo 2 and Grand Theft Auto San Andreas on release day. I never did as my parents would never let me do that for a video game.I mean when I was younger I wanted to do something like this but as I'm getting closer to being middle aged my priorities have shift and my excitement for video games has kinda dwindled a bit. Especially in the last couple of months hoping I may get back into it again at somepoint I got 1/4 of the way through Tales of Symphonia and stopped playing for some reason and just haven't felt compelled to pick it back up again and it's been a few weeks.

Look at that face. He is thinking profound thoughts.

Ozzy, a small hairy black and white terrier dog, stands in a park with a mysterious look on his face. Behind him is a vast lawn, a row of trees in fall colors - some already bare - and a partly cloudy sky.

@quincy i am not sure if you are saying it genuine or jokingly QwQ but just in case my comment was ment jokingly ^^ (I should start spamming tone tags again)

But (being relatively new on mastodon) I do wonder when people usually start using CW and if they differentiate between CW/TW.

Edit: okay saw you edited it, that's neat ^^

No, I don't generally joke, and I wasn't sure if or to what extent you were joking, but I added the tags just in case (and I generally strive to use them for this sort of toot about negative stuff) :)

@jester @lumi no workable licensing terms can determine the ethics of the person taking your code to do something with it; that's something left to the people writing the code in the first place, and it usually requires them not to be techno-libertarians.

Whoever is pushing for Jeffries & Schumer to stay in leadership it sure as heck isn’t the people...

An NBC poll from four days ago showed Hakeem Jeffries with an approval rating of 18%. Chuck Schumer at 13%. This should be case closed.

Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries telling us they're gonna hold Republicans accountable and stop taking AIPAC money.

House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jefiries is viewed positively by 18% of voters and negatively by 35%. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who’s led Democrats in the body for almost a decade, is far better defined— to his detriment. Just 13% of voters view him positively, and 53% view him negatively.

The best way to post from Mastodon to Lemmy is like this:

Test post from Mastodon to Lemmy <- 1st line: automatically turned into a title

@Fediverse <- 2nd line: mentioning the Lemmy community

Writing this from Mastodon as a Test. Hello! <- Everything below: the post body

Lemmy automatically turns the first line/paragraph of a Mastodon toot into the title.

You just mention the community’s handle like you would another user, and that creates the thread. Hence the @fediverse. Behind the scenes, the community then does the equivalent of a “boost” to push the thread to everyone who is following the community. If I recall correctly.
