@amiserabilist

But thank you for asking 😊❤️

@ariadne What I don't like about this answer is, if the project wants to absolve itself of responsibility for deciding whether contributions are ethical or not, then giving a definite yes/no answer is still not the way to do it.

In that circumstance, the correct answer is,
> As a U.S. based foundation, we track the law of the U.S. for issues outside of our focus.

Problem solved.

If the U.S. permits products of slave labour, that's a U.S. problem at that point.

@amiserabilist

Also my ribs hurt. Zero stars. Do not recommend.

This seem to stem from a misunderstanding. Lemmy and Mastodon have different goals. Users of each generally don’t want the other’s content generally showing up en masse.

If you want to see something from Mastodon, you can usually get it on Lemmy, and vice versa. I don’t often see Mastodon posts either, but that’s because I only follow Lemmy communities, so I only see them when someone on Mastodon tags a Lemmy community in their post. If you want to see more Mastodon content, see if you can follow some users or hashtags from Lemmy.

But that might not be supported; I haven’t tried. If you prefer Mastodon, I’m pretty sure that you can follow Lemmy communities from there.

damn, I kinda need to get a new skateboard deck in time for the new park...

i think I'm finally ready to go back to riding 8.25 🤭

i might setup commissions... but for what? idk. i dont think commissions are for me.

@dheadshot Ah, found it. The correct url is gemini://skyjake.fi/gemlog/2026/09/choosing-sides-in-the-holy-war.gmi

@davidgerard
I would never survive on an actual TV quiz show because you have to let the presenter finish.

YOU GAVE ME A TIME LIMIT TO ANSWER AS MANY AS POSSIBLE, WHY DO YOUR QUESTIONS HAVE 856 WORDS IN THEM!?!?

@dskywalk okay, the ROM partition needed some fsck-ing.
But I still can't run any SMS game (screen goes black and then back into the menu) and the Sega Game Gear games don't even show up...

Any Idea on how do debug that?

@LeoR1010 garanterat!

@alexandra@digipres.club That thread is frightening. So many other corners of the FOSS world are bowing down to tech fascism as if they have to though so I am not sure it is surprising.

@stibbons Coder owes an apology to Tennessee. It was Indiana. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indiana_pi_bill

I found that my coming in a perriwigg did not prove so strange to the world as I was afear’d it would, for I thought that all the church would presently have cast their eyes all upon me, but I found no such thing.

From my wife on Threads...

This is a thing of beauty.
