A family member's small tablet is dying.
They want a new one.
The options are all pretty rubbish, and laden with crapware.
Oh for a consumer protection law which required device manufacturers / retailers to offer an easy way of decrapifying any device that they sell, to install a clean / base OS image.
is there like.. Obsidian but with features? Scroll to zoom text? Adjustable width without nonsense in frontmatter?
@piggo@gs.rypak.cz What's with the page width? You can turn off the limited width in core settings.

@billyjoebowers
Scare them lots before imprisoning them. In the same places they shoved kidnapped detainees into.
I’ve been syndicating my blog to MSN News since forever. Yesterday I published a post to my linkblog that points out MSN Copilot cited a random site by a right-wing guy in 75% of its election-related answers. This morning I coincidentally received an email informing me I’m kicked off of MSN. Fun!

@Bez_Lightyear To be honest I think it's House of Games that's repellent.
When it's on I sit there working out the answers before I remind myself that House of Games aptitude isn't a worthwhile skill.
So has Richard Osman gone then?
@lydiaconwell If anything, House of Games exists just to prove that most celebs are not the brightest bulbs in the box.
@troberts Imagine the productivity gain if we could all just shit an entire week's worth of shit in a single, explosive session!
@ghost_shit @troberts Already a thing, apparently:
@GhostOnTheHalfShell @mastodonmigration you're right - I say this as a Project Manager with workflow expertese.
The bottom up people can mount a large, widespread, sustainable campaign as there's no one point of failure. They can be persistent due to georgraphic and temporal distribution.
I'll also say the Democrats who learn this, who can lead from behind, who know when to ride the wave and when to lead, will be our next big leaders.
@StevenSavage @GhostOnTheHalfShell
The entire midterm election is a clear example of this. We just need to maintain the momentum.
@jamesmarshall It came from the detail spreadsheet shown in the subsequent reply (and below).
The 'Oppose' Senators are all people who have publicly expressed the intent to replace Schumer or waffled when asked if they will support him. The 'Support' are known 'centrists' who are likely Schumer allies.
[Busy today, but plan on updating this tonight]
@mastodonmigration oh, this list is from you personally? If so, thanks! Great work, and I look forward to the update.
Posting cool #space #facts until the Atlas Rush #Kickstarter - #blue edition
Asteroid 3200 Phaethon is among the bluest objects in the solar system. It orbits close to the sun, vaporizing its red iron and organics, leaving only very blue silicates.

My fedi party politics filters have done pretty well over the past few days! Not perfectly, but pretty darn well all things considered.

Now we need to dump Schumer and Jeffries for actual leaders.

Anyone know about Harmony (ActivityPub chat like Discord)?
Federated social app: Discord-style servers and chat with ActivityPub.

I don’t remember hearing of it till now, yet it claims a lot of desired features. Github page shows only one contributor, one fork, 44 stars; lot of commits in the last week, oldest 3 years ago; GNU Affero General Public Licence v3.0.
