A family member's small tablet is dying.
They want a new one.
The options are all pretty rubbish, and laden with crapware.
Oh for a consumer protection law which required device manufacturers / retailers to offer an easy way of decrapifying any device that they sell, to install a clean / base OS image.
@neil similarly infuriating that once a device is EOL there's no option to continue using with alternative/open options. I have lots of really nice "dead" hardware that's now completely unusable. 😡
