Everyone should petition their local officials to change to ranked choice voting. Now. This needs to happen before next elections.
The very close races we see are so tight because of other candidates on the ballots sucking away votes, and ranked choice would make it clear exactly what kind of government the voters want.

@itsfoss the future is about who owns the compute, in the same way the past and present are about who controls the oil.
A blue wave in the US is great. Still watching the WA inititiatives but generally happy with the overall political picture.
However, the increasing polarization and these wild electoral swings are a sign of deep underlying political instability.
My gtfo Jewdar is off the charts.
We do well in stable countries, not declining empires bouncing back and forth between populist mandates.
It's OK to be wrong about needing to leave a host country. Just don't be wrong about not needing to leave.

> I hope I'm wrong. I hope this is history's biggest polling miss. I hope I wake up tomorrow and Minnesota has a Republican Senator and so does Michigan. I hope this blue wave is a trickle, like the red one in 2022.

If you don't have any ideas of what to make, get a blank page & start making marks. Do whatever you feel like.
It may turn out cool, but even if it doesn't, you will have woken your brain up.
If you "don't have any ideas", then do random stuff. Try things. Mess around.
Exercise your creativity.
Don't wait for inspiration. Inspire yourself.
At least for me, nothing fills my brain with artistic ideas in the same way that dedicating time to making things even when I "don't have ideas" does.
@kyonshi Are the NPCs at least using the stolen gear? And they should be levelling up as time passes. I always do a quickie pass when restocking of "should this crew have earned EPs?"
@mdhughes yeah, they used it, and I had them level up since the last session. Didn't help them much. Which is a pity, I had already hopes for them as recurrent antagonists
Humble's November 2026 Choice bundle has an amazing lineup of 8 games, with all of them, except one, being #SteamDeck Verified:
This is the correct take
@dancast @dan @whitequark "The Asylum" made 5 movies about flying, gliding would be more correct, sharks I can see a new franchise about Squids and the can be much more terrifying, I can think of a flying kraken as the last big boss. A kraken could probably fly even to the space station .
