@glynmoody Modern software is not so efficient so we need lots of RAM. I only got 16GB in my new PC as it was so expensive and I could use more. There's a gold rush for AI that is messing things up and a lot of these companies will crash. The current trajectory is not sustainable.

peter thiel's hobby is blitz chess and he's apparently ok at it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MaDHye63lYo

#MusicBrainzPicard 3.0.4 is now available for download.

A maintenance release for Picard 3.0 with fixes for reported issues and updated translations.

North Up Daily is a new map puzzle every day: 16 tiles, all rotated the wrong way. Turn them until the streets and rivers reconnect and north points up, then work out where you are.

It’s free, no account needed, and there’s unlimited practice if one a day isn’t enough. Made by Jan Kryšpín with OpenStreetMap data.

@fesshole OP should just ask him.
In the changing rooms.
While they're both naked after showering.

Yeah, I don't know why I'm picturing the gym guy as Oliver Reed.

@tallstorygames Think of them as keys to success.

@llamasoft_ox Looks like the plushie is dressed as well .. which makes one think "Is the whole image AI generated ?"

@lalgorisme no deixa de sorprendrem que mai es posi el focus en els atacants, només ells son els culpables de l’atac, per mi, terrorista.

@SonnyBonds Shit! You're right? Maybe I should send them one hundred keys instead? 😆

@gamingonlinux

Looks like fun. Now if we could get Felt That Boxing, we'd have a nice duo.

@spla això diuen. Quin sentit té doncs organitzar un desallotjament a hòsties? És quintacolumnisme o que no poden evitar (psoe) mostrar el que són?

It is not just stealing someone’s handbag: it is walking away very slowly after you’ve stolen it, yelling “hey, I MADE a HANDBAG”.

This is so good.

@jor malgré certains beaux discours, LFI est un parti souverainiste, franchouillard et campiste, donc le résultat de ton sondage me fait bien marrer (ou pas)

I’m not sure I understand the team premise…

They want a developer to work on adding multimedia applications or features to the Fediverse, and they also want artists to make content for the Fediverse, both of which make sense, but why team them up? Is the intention that the content creator member be the first user of the features the developer is developing? If so there might be a boring lead-time where the content creator can’t do anything and they’re just waiting on the developer to build a thing.

I’m not saying it’s a bad idea necessarily… I think I’m just confused at the shape of what they’re hoping to come out of this.

@slothrop this one is Yahoo Finance themselves, who are reasonably normal

I developed a PeerTube-browser project. Or it would be more correct to say that it is an ongoing process. It is basically a tool for browsing PeerTube videos from all over the PeerTube network, and it displays the content in a familiar YouTube-like user interface with a bunch of features like searching, filtering by categories, tags, languages, and so on.

I consider myself a content creator and while I was discovering PeerTube for the first time, I encountered a fundamental discovery problem with it, and with the help of AI, I am trying to solve this problem with this PeerTube-browser project.

I really like the idea of the Fediverse, and I really like creating stuff, including content and, recently, a software. So I'm kind of a person who is aware of those two sides of the river. I would really like to collaborate with someone, even more if it brings in some income. Anyway, I'm working on this project just for the sake of my personal interest.

The web app is temporarily down, because I'm on the stage of fixing major issues. You can check out the source:

I have also developed a Discord Fediverse bridge application. In short. In short, it is software that makes it possible to follow Fediverse Lemmy communities and bridge and display their posts and comments in Discord forum channels. And it also works both ways. So you can create posts and comments in the remote community, as well as create a community that can be followed from other instances in the Fediverse.
I'm writing from this bridge : )

@davidgerard that’s a multi-trillion dollar market right there

Holy shit.

This guy takes a couple of minutes of audio from a security camera anywhere in the US, with no clues from the video whatsoever, and finds the exact spot where it was recorded.

How?

By correlating the Doppler curve sounds from two almost inaudible planes passing by with public ADS-B flight data.

I think this is the #OSINT video of the year.
