If you are too disgusted with your democrat option to vote for them (I assume no one is following me who would vote for republicans?) Anyway I think it's helpful to still vote and write-in something or check out the local referendums and just vote on those.
Your null vote weakens republican and democratic mandates. Just telling people you feel that was is less impactful.
It also increases overall turnout numbers which mostly freaks out all of the right people.
I think voting for democrats is the most effective option in nearly all cases, but I don't like cheerleading for them much.
The constant vote vote vote from people who never show up or help with anything else can be annoying.
People will tell you a null vote is wasted. I don't think so. It's alarming.
IDK maybe don't do it in a swing state, but that's up to you.
Just show you can and will show up.
I’ve been watching Democratic politicians who move toward Republican Fascism. It isn’t only the flaming example of Haley Stevens. I have seen it at the state and local level too.
It is repulsive and can be demoralizing. Watching the union of cowardice and fascism really exposes one to the basest aspects of humanity. 1/
I am LIVE streaming #Valheim and still trying to give away my #WoWForever launch codes here:
https://www.twitch.tv/lisamelton
Come join the chat and talk to a generous Viking.
Seriously, the launch codes give you one week of WoW Forever gameplay if you don't already have a subscription. 😊🥰💖
@lisamelton I watched for a bit and gave you a follow (didn’t mean for it to disrupt your game!). Valheim’s not so much my game though. I’ll try and catch a stream of WoW Forever if you do one.

Typically, a human uses less than 50% of inhaled oxygen. Breathing atmospheric air is a wasteful activity, when performed by everyone, individually. At Torment Nexus, we believe that clean, readily-available air can be better utilized en-masse by being diverted for exclusive use by Torment Nexus.

@ai6yr they called me mad! But I was right!
@bigzaphod four days too early!
@BenRiceM I know - movie night is Sunday and the 5th just didn’t line up either way unfortunately. So we went with it for this weekend. Better to be prepared.
My public-facing logs are so full of "scan all 65535 ports and then hammer on everything" that I'm sick of the task of scanning the logs.
Seriously considering making everything possible Tor hidden services, or VPN-only.
I should read up on how to use Tailscale for point-to-point VPNs.
GRENAAAADE ! 💥
the cool thing about polycules is that due to glitches involving plural people and how brains change over time someone can be a member of the same polycule an arbitrary number of times including fractions
Was having a conversation with a friend and came to a conclusion: The problem with Patreon is there's a "hump" you have to get over where below $N the Patreon comes with obligations, but is not making enough money yet to fund you to meet the obligations. Therefore Patreon should have a mode, or there should be a Patreon/Kickstarter fusion somewhere, where people pledge to pay you $Y a month but it doesn't start withdrawing until the total pledge amount to the project goes over $N
@mcc That would be great. I feel like recurring "kickstarter" style crowdfunding options would be great.
Not quite the same, but until yesterday, Patreon had a billing model where people could pledge per creation, so supporters only got charged when you released something. I'd always intended to switch to that and scale my works to match the support I'd received if needed. Felt like a good way of making sure everybody's up front and has opportunity to back out if things aren't going as expected
