NO ONE, ESPECIALLY VETERANS, SHOULD BE HOMELESS
Would be better without the ‘especially veterans’ part. WTF makes veterans so special? Why is a homeless veteran more concerning than any other homeless person?
I am a veteran, by the way. But fuck this shit.
MAGA & GOP view themselves as the pro-military party, which is really important because it means veterans often vote for them. The reality is MAGA & GOP is happy to vote for more military spending of the variety that puts money into the military industrial complex. They are way less willing to spend it in ways that benefit actual veterans.
I’m against war & the military and do not think highly of those that join. That said they are, technically, a public servant. And public servants should be granted public resources such as housing & healthcare & food. So yes, ‘especially veterans’, should get housing.
But also yes, everyone should.
Here's what I think is absolutely possible:
- We won't need oil in 20 years
- We can have solar, batteries, wind energy in decentralised ways and will never need fusion reactors
- Trains are better to move us around, individual traffic solutions only for the last 10 miles
- We are continuously progressing on the quality of life and it will only get better
- We can tax the rich.
- We can move towards a cooperative and social capitalism that helps the many
It's not revolution, it's evolution :)

Our plan is to port 6th through 10th generation Pixels to Linux 6.18 to entirely phase out requiring the older kernel branches. Having a single kernel branch across all of the supported devices will greatly simplify shipping upstream LTS revisions and hardening the kernel.
Linux has a massive number of serious security vulnerabilities being discovered with AI models. Most of these vulnerabilities have been present in the kernel for a long time. The average lifetime for vulnerabilities has started dropping significantly after many months of this.

The satisfaction of those conditions is not on the table. The slop vendors will not disclose which copyrighted works were churned into their models. They keep losing lawsuits about it when they do. It is, further, not possible to identify which inputs correlate to which outputs. Note that I say "not possible" instead of "not feasible" because it is literally impossible due to the method of operation of this technology.
So it doesn't matter if your impossible hypothetical would or would not suffice, because 1) the companies won't divulge sufficient info, and 2) provenance can't be meaningfully established anyway.

So I know it’s cheaper for me to sometimes Lyft places than for us to pay for another car with insurance, maintenance, etc. But I look at a $15 ride and feel financially irresponsible and then don’t go anywhere? What is the psychology term for this 😅
