@lritter @boggo a few years ago, i built this PC with an RTX 4090 and 96 GB RAM, specifically because i knew local LLMs were going to be a thing and i wanted to try them out, so i figured i'd need loads of RAM and VRAM. the punchline is that the prices of everything have gone insane, and i haven't even used the PC for LLMs at all, and my interest in doing so has basically evaporated

Am I the first person ever to run a Bourne shell on a Commodore 64 I wonder.
A 1MHz 6502 sucks at disk I/O, sucks at copying memory and sucks at running C code, especially when the C code has to be optimized for space not speed. But it works.
I have plans for REU support which I think will make it much much faster assuming i can get away with a few tricks and the timing doesn't break anything.
Thank you for reminding me to put a license, that completely slipped my mind. However, i thought that unlicensed public stuff was by default public domain? Am i wrong in this?
And yes, when i started on Frogue from the ashes of IronBridge, i noticed activitypub-rs too. They do seem focused on implementing everything in the spec, whereas i'm more of the opinion of creating working software first and implement the rest later. What i meant by "online" was "active as a server" so that we could test exchanging data and refine our approaches together.
Thank you for your words of encouragement.

Since there are now 3 projects implementing #ForgeFed it might be great to test #interoperability between the projects, as a good means to improve the specification.
(Btw, I noticed your README to say "ForgeJo", but it is "Forgejo", an Esperanto word for Forge. You pronounce is as "For jay oh 😮", not "Forge yo 🤘" :)
The word 'behemoth' has always made me stop and laugh whenever I've read it, even in serious media pieces. It sounds too much like 'wet animal' in its etymological roots, like my puppy in a bath. My date tonight disagreed with the thrust of my brief TED Talk and ended the date.
@fesshole sounds like you hit a nerve, Fess.
@ben you should get gordon lightfoot to write a song about you

Future archeologists have dubbed us the "glass rounded rectangle and plastic trash people"
@futurebird In the book The Power by Naomi Alderman, in the far future, they refer to historical artefacts of the 21st century, which are marked with the 'bitten fruit.' Which they think must have been some kind of religious symbol. Certainly of some great cultural import anyway. 😏

@rtn Oh, that is good to know, thank you! What kind of issues are you facing?
@amadeus It doesn't show all the inputs. You can get to the first two but it's actually worse than the EVO4.

Poor little fellow! 😢
How can these people dare to upset him! I hope he will become a world class soccer player!
@hadrienmp I'm interested, any writing about that?
@shapr No not really, I was thinking about it, but it's hard finding the motivation to do it in this context 😖
A lot of this comes from wanting to fit with a certain group for various reasons.
As a person who has struggled with relationships her whole life, and has been abandoned over and over again... It's hard for me to look at a relationship and be the one to say no.
It's a scarcity mindset. Plus a belief that it's always my fault/responsibility.
And while I've done a lot of work to be okay going without vs going with the bad... Old patterns and habits are deeply ingrained.
@MsHearthWitch I relate to this so heavily. I still struggle with feelings of relationship scarcity regularly
