Motorola has announced their new high end flagship phone including upcoming official support for GrapheneOS as an OS option.
Motorola Signature 27 will be the first Motorola device supported by GrapheneOS. More devices will be supported in the future.
@GrapheneOS The price and "next-generation agentic AI" would kill it for me.
When I was a kid, we got a passenger van; this was in the days when minivans were just starting to become popular, but we couldn't afford a new one of those.
In this van, there was a TV with a VCR. In this VCR, we had exactly one video tape: Dances With Wolves. We did many trips in this van, and my step-sisters were often bored and wanting to watch something, so that's what we watched. Over and over and over again.
To this day, I still cannot watch a movie with Kevin Costner in it.
@Andres4NY oooof
Tonight's Low Quality Ad is for this Castle Blanket, showing Stephen Miller entering the White House to be anointed as Chief of Darkness.

I almost made a joke when I learned this about how plinths would probably be very important in this movie (plinths are very big in Decemberists songs). I wish I had because plinths were very important in the movie.
Words fail in talking about the artistry of this movie. A once-in-a-lifetime achievement. And how refreshing to have an animated film for children (who are mature enough for some light murder) where every character isn't always saying "So, uh, that just happened."
@WAHa_06x36 oh true, i used to use notion at a job in a pre-ai hype bubble world, so idk what the world is like now. but i've heard there are open source alternatives, idk
@WAHa_06x36 i use trilium notes (self-hosted) myself, but even that has some ai integrations (opt-in but still i mean). i also don't know what its database capabilities are
No.
@Bobbins he has such sights to show us.
@Viss One of my very first jobs was software working for a pathologist in neuroanatomy, and work on a laserdisc containing thousands and thousands of pathology images (ie ways people died). The number of images of people who had accidentally killed themselves using nail guns was VERY LARGE. Don't use nail guns...
@ai6yr so youre telling me that the makita i got in the garage is WAY COOLER than i thought?
At first I thought this image was from a previous comic where she'd been blowing bubbles. Then I counted the fingers.
@RBuzz It's a remix from episode 65 "Bubble Therapy", panel 3, first published in mid august:

The main edit I did today is that I changed her facial expression, the lace on her dress, the fingers, and removed the Avian Intelligence parrot.
After the polls close, the election outcome is generally determined, and it’s just a matter of letting the count proceed and waiting for the results. But one exception is provisional ballots, where campaigns continue their GOTV efforts to encourage those who voted that way to cure their ballots before the deadline.
Mississippi’s senate seat is likely to be decided by provisional ballots this year, so we’re seeing a lot of this activity now.
@mattblaze Thank you for these details.

lovely, the #KeeWeb app for #Nextcloud appears to have been abandoned
@ai6yr Strange that. I'm not seeing any flood watches or warnings for GA.
@uccawx Yep, exactly. These are locations near the flooding from yesterday, however.

Top tip. Don’t be me. Go back to Kakariko Village after the water temple.
I have ZERO memory of the lens of truth. Or the well.

Les Français·es sont bien gentils de tenir la rue de manière joyeuse et pacifique.
Parce qu’ils ont manifesté pour les retraites, pétitionné sur Duplomb, voté pour le NFP. Ils ont été méprisés
