@TheBreadmonkey Too late. You can't take it back. I've read it and I fully intend to imbibe that information for my own personal use. So THERE.

Does anyone know good articles about Lechitic umlaut (przegłos lechicki) and the chronology of early West Slavic sound changes?

Two years ago we started planning a major redesign of Pixelfed's webUI.
Now, we're polishing it and preparing it for it's long awaited release.
Admins: Make sure you have the latest node/npm version installed, you will need it soon. 😉
@TheBreadmonkey @zalasur a few years ago, I developed a habit of pressing one nostril whenever I raised a pint of cider to my face.
No, it was not cocaine.
The day the ‘European Union’ was born. 🇪🇺
On 1 November 1993, the Maastricht Treaty entered into force, officially establishing the European Union, formerly the European Communities.
From 12 to 27 Member States, we've come a long way.
Here's to our shared European future! 💙
Its hard to praise something that exists compared to something you hope for, but I am eternally grateful that mass human sanity is capable of of creating the European Union.
Not because it is the noun good, but the verb. We can do self government, we can avoid rhe madnesses. We can act together.
I am glad, impressed, hopeful Canada sees integrating with Europe is a sane, powerful, parh to strengthening civilization.
Hoorah for Europe, viva, bravo, cool.

@liaizon Good catch — that number isn't real. Our actual monthly active users is around 90. We recently upgraded to Pixelfed v0.15.2, and one of the official migrations (backfill_user_storage_used) recalculates storage usage for every account, which updates every user row. Pixelfed's nodeinfo counts any account whose row was updated in the last 5 weeks as "active", so every account showed up as active. It's just how the number is counted, and it should be back to normal by early December.
@Yohei_Zuho thank you for looking into this. We need to get better at calculating this data, this is sorta ridiculous. I wonder if a whole new mechanism of tracking active users would be better.
The 3D printer is amazing. I'm doing some crazy stuff with it, and my creativity is totally free now.
My wife had an interesting idea we're investigating. I think it could be GREAT.
I'm checking out the Texmaker cross-platform LaTeX editor, which I run on Linux Mint Cinnamon with the full TeX Live distribution that comes with Mint. Texmaker is fast and has many useful features, I like it.
Texmaker seems one of the rare tools that encourage you to create, and make that work fun.
@amoroso And JabRef supports pushing citations directly to TextMaker/TeXStudio as well

They did that last time over Pro-Republican comments iirc, tried to explain it away then threw their toys out of the pram and stormed off Mastodon, only to sheepishly return some time later with a far worse reputation.
So expect some petulant flouncing quite soon.😂

Pixelfed recalculates all users as active on server update (or at least 0.15.2 update) so the MAU is going to be massively wrong for a large part of the fediverse. It was pretty meaningless already but now we have another specific reason for it.
