on page 28 is a schematic of the power stuff
and it says on page 27 "Caution – Removing the side access panel or removable media assembly activates the system power interlock switches. This safety mechanism prevents all DC voltages (except 5V standby power) from reaching any internal component when the side panel or removable media assembly is removed and the front panel keyswitch is in the Power-on position ( )"

"Please also learn to recognize when we should not forgive anyone who has zero repentance, while still alive to repent on their own harms to others."
Please also learn that it's OK to never forgive anyone who harmed you or anyone you deeply loved & they still feel zero remorse. No one has any right to demand that you ever forgive some human monsters. Don't let anyone guilt trip you into doing anything that goes against your own heart/soul cores 🙏
This applies to people who are dead too - you don't need to forgive dead abusive folks, if you don't want to.

I love having a bicycle with a battery, so that I can use a car less, and cycle with a massive smile on my face. Wheee!
I love that I can run my business from home, and so get to both work *and* spend a lot of time around my wonderful wife.
Tech in 2026 isn't all bad, but sometimes I have to remind myself of that.

It'd be tendentious to compare the actual utility or impressiveness of LLMs with the Metaverse, but I think it's a more apropos comparison in terms of hype cycles than NFTs in at least one specific way -- the Metaverse was, while ultimately a joke, an attempt to create a totalizing environment owned and operated by a single corporation in a way that betrays both a terrifying philosophy and a deep disconnect from the actual way actual people use their actual computers
