two GIGABYTES of blazingly fast PC100 in this puppy
@amsomniac damn that memory must be worth at least 3 lamborghinis
now if only I knew how to turn the damn thing on. I don't have a power button…
@amsomniac just short the right pins on the motherboard with a screwdriver!
@bazkie I don't even know what the motherboard is called. my best guess is it's a sun e250
@amsomniac hmm I did find a manual, of what I think is this mobo @ https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E19088-01/250.srvr/805-5160-10/805-5160-10.pdf
on page 28 is a schematic of the power stuff
and it says on page 27 "Caution – Removing the side access panel or removable media assembly activates the system power interlock switches. This safety mechanism prevents all DC voltages (except 5V standby power) from reaching any internal component when the side panel or removable media assembly is removed and the front panel keyswitch is in the Power-on position ( )"
maybe that helps. please tell me to shut up if you find me trying to help annoying lol
@bazkie thank you! I was wondering why none of the keyswitch positions seemed to do anything. I'll have to figure out the interlocks… yay puzzles!
@amsomniac
Stop it. There's no such thing as a "giga".
