Each group/sub on Lemmy/Piefed/etc. has an address, like subname@lemmy.website. On Mastodon, you just @ the sub’s handle, and you can follow the handle as if it were a user and have everything posted to the sub reshared to you.
Lemmy doesn’t let you follow individual user accounte, though, so you can’t follow Mastodon users. Just groups. But there are lots of things that are groups. PeerTube channels, for instace.

OSM doesn’t do any sort of reviews. This does interop in that all the reviewable places are places from the OSM database.
The cost of labor, the store, stocking it etc. is the bulk of the price.
Goodwill throws away tons of donations as do may other clothing charities since sorting and cleaning is expensive.
@futurebird Aha, that makes a lot of sense. This was in a high rent neighborhood (very high rent neighborhood), so they are pricing it to cover rent and wages in that expensive area!!

@mangroveReviews@mas.to could you expand on what happens exactly when reviews are imported in for a POI that doesn’t exist in OpenStreetMap? I did see this portion: " Otherwise it is the first review of the place, at Google’s position.", but could you give more details?
@suetanvil For that few people, probably the easiest thing is to just keep all their email addresses in a text file and paste it into the To: field by hand when you send an email

LPs going for $4.99 and up at the Goodwill there, and CDs also. 🤔 It appears they scale up their prices in LA proper. (used t-shirts going for $2 in my part of Ventura County, CDs for 50 cents, LPs for $1.99). 🤔

dvds are ~$4
I try to shop at the other, local, thrift shop that does discounts of 75%, 50% and 25% off based on whatever color tag an item has
