Alonzo research news: Reading up on Algorithm W didn't really the questions I had. Now I'm studying up on System Fω, at 1st glance this looks like a close fit...
That's so wild. Ethiopia banned all gasoline cars and is now moving to EVs that are basically driving for free, because the hydropower plant is producing more than enough energy for the whole country.
I’m really happy to see that for the people and Ethiopia and it feels like this is the future.
Notable ofc, how western car makers from Europe and the US are completely missing out and China is taking over.

My furry boys do not get the concept of daylight savings time at all, and are haunting my every step around the house desperately trying to communicate the fact that they have never been fed before in their entire lives and may perish at any moment if they do not get their dinner immediately
@AbandonedAmerica You're making me miss my dogs.
@ai6yr oh, things like this are happening across the country because half the people working in heritage at the federal level have lost their jobs
and at this point most of us who are qualified to do the work are willing to take federal work only on a contract basis, because they're not a good employer
@sarae 😬
@EugestShirley @ai6yr My grandmother used to hang clothes out in the winter and gave them a good shake when they froze. Best fabric softener ever.
Today is the LAST DAY you can vote in the midterm elections!
If you want your voice to be heard, get to the polls today and exercise your franchise.
I believe in you.
@ZenHeathen @mayintoronto @mhoye I helped staff the HF link to eastern Ontario via the ham radio station VE3EMO at Emergency Measures Ontario for a couple of days.
It wasn't really needed much, but there were always three or four ham radio volunteers there "just in case".
I got a thank you letter from the Minister for my service, the only thank you letter I've ever received from a Tory. LOL!!!
@leftylabourtech @ZenHeathen @mayintoronto @mhoye "Dear....Radio Nerd. Thanks for saving our asses during the '98 Ice Storm. It has been an Honour. *salute* Col. Mayhem"
#Trump doesn't need to work out a way to sneak a nuke attack on Tehran past his own military. Netanyahu can use one of their own nukes and say he had the USA behind him. No-one listens to science any more so facts explaining it was the Zionists won't trump (no pun) reality.
Then Putin (Trumps other boss) can use the excuse to nuke Ukraine.
Then the EU will either back down and doom everyone in the former Soviet Union or we might all die sooner.
Dooming the entire population of the former Soviet Union means neoliberalism/fascism might be able to continue.
I hope these thoughts warm up all your nights (and not with nuclear fireballs).

@petermedvind it creates such a feeling of fear and uncertainty. any human encountering such a comment would avoid ever modifying the code, however inane and simple it looks
@jk @petermedvind it's bullshit, right! it's persuasion by intimidation, automated
so now my choices are to either go to the glades of andurin and try to open chests until I get the other two thirds of the sword that's basically nonexistent
or to stop playing the game because there's no other form of progression I can do that's available until the dog sleeps for 3 hours
@ben GEOFF DOES IT AGAIN!!
@startrekgifs @darth_hideout It is a fine day for me to ceaselessly flip through TAS images, while muttering, "I don't see it. How can I not see it?" 👍🏾
Today, I'd even hunt down an ENT gif title, as I am not very familiar with ENT episodes.
It's not a bad day for DIY memes either.
I wanna do a little craft to bring gifts to tomorrow's hot pot date with girlfriends.
But I've also used so many spoons today already and am starting to become paralyzed by election anxiety. In that neurospicy space where I have to just WAIT and can't do anything until I *know*
(is it just me? does anyone else get that?)
I know that doing my little craft will help with my brain space. But it feels impossible right now. Maybe I can body double hubby when he gets home.
Nie powinno to dziwić. Pod uchwałą mogli podpisać się wyłącznie mieszkańcy Krakowa, a to właśnie oni mają najwięcej do zyskania dzięki dobrze zaprojektowanej SCT:
- czystsze powietrze,
- mniej samochodów na ulicach,
- dodatkowe dziesiątki milionów złotych na rozwój transportu publicznego w ciągu 3 lat.
315 podpisów to zaledwie 0,04% mieszkańców Krakowa.

This is not my beautiful house. (This is not my large automobile.)
My house is 40 feet to the left. This is my neighbor's porch, connected to their house, with their address on it.
