@dgar Before my disability became more pronounced, I was a big work-with-my-hands person. I worked in factories and restaurant kitchens. I built shelves and tables, I gardened, knitted, wove and tatted. I drew and painted and wrote everything by hand. Now most of that is gone, and what is left is sporadic at best. Blender has opened the creative world back up to me in a way that no 2d art software ever did. I can conceptualize and then build furniture, structures, trees, objects... It's magic.

✌️☺️👍

melvor idle 2 has farming automation where you can pay someone to apply compost and plant seeds

but not to water or harvest the crops so it's completely pointless and only saves clicks when you're actively clicking on things already

And here I was thinking the United Methodist prayers I grew up with could be a bit much some times 😅

PyLova has that feature as well: https://codeberg.org/quokkau/PyLova

Summit can mark dupes as read, so they’re at least dithered out

Getting lots of people who are apparently completely unfamiliar with US elections telling me what's wrong with US elections.

Greenback-brained drug cartels out there stacking their suitcases with 100 USD bills, when there are still 200 EUR and even 1000 SGD bills still being not just in circulation, but printed.

Sounds like a good feature request, to either Lemmy in general or whatever that app is, or both

That one one thing I liked about Piefed. If only the creator wasn’t a man-baby.

I think some mobile apps get rid of the duplicates, although I’m not familiar with which ones do that. Unless someone else replies here, you could try posting to !lemmyapps@lemmy.world

Lemmy doesn’t really have much in the way of an “algorithm” and it really shows with stuff like this.

Mbin can combine posts like that and show comments from all of them, but I think it shows all posts in the main post view, it only combines the comments. I really hope in the future Lemmy combines crossposts into one posts. It’s something an app could do. But I’d love to see it in the default UI so it hopefully encourages all apps to support it too.

@moira Have you looked into chain waxing? I’m a convert.
