@Christo_459 bad... But confusing. It seems they're "just" needing CBD, and that seems to be everywhere now for relatively cheap.

Bedrolite is very expensive. It isn't just CBD

Violence is almost never justifiable. Almost never.
“Back in 1998, former paratrooper Karl Bushby, then aged 29, set off from Punta Arenas, Chile, to walk an unbroken path to his home city of Hull, without breaking two self-imposed rules: not to return to the UK until he had completed his journey, and not to use transport to advance.
Now 57, he is embarking on his final few miles having hacked his way through the jungles of the Darién Gap, crossed the frozen Bering Strait and, just a few weeks ago, swum the English Channel.
At the end, he will be met by his 36-year-old son Adam, a 12-year-old granddaughter whom he has never met, his father and brothers. His mother will be waiting at his childhood home that he left 28 years ago.”
Souvenir de Sonocraft 2026, c'est toujours un plaisir de venir en tant que public à chaque orga proposée par Le Filtre à Sons, cette fois-ci un honneur d'ouvrir pour le festival ! 🍻
Merci à Camille pour la photo 😉

@PhoenixSerenity A few years ago I was able to get back to the university to finally study Egyptology, knowing now why I failed younger not knowing that I was autistic and ADHD. But it was before all of my health issues and cancers.
Is there a particular culture/country you like to read about?
@AudhdDespiteNoisyAbleism I really like learning about Mongolian culture & history.

These fucking assholes drive up the cost of so many basic things that are central to people's lives, and then claim that, because of the shortage and expense THEY CREATED, we should just let the oligarchs have it all and sharecrop from them in perpetuity.
Fuck these people. Every one of them.
In 1928, Belgian businessman Alfred Loewenstein was the third richest man in the world. On July 4 of that year, during a flight from England to Belgium on board his private plane, he went to the rear to use the bathroom. That was the last time anyone saw him alive.
Loewenstein's plane, a Fokker F.VII, was designed with a main cabin for passengers connected to an access passageway running rearwards. The passageway had doors on either side. The one on the right led to the bathroom. The one on the left was the main entrance (and exit) of the plane.
When other passengers went to see what was taking Loewenstein so long, they found the bathroom empty and the main entrance door hanging open.
Loewenstein's body was discovered near Boulogne two weeks later.
After I've emptied the tank following a zombie horde around, I get up the next day to be the event photographer for Creepy Crawly Halloween, a Trick or Treat event that I helped start about 2 decades ago.
This event went from being a nice and chill children's event into a massive street party in costume. Nobody will get a lot of candy because there are simply too many people. You go for the experience and it's quite a ride to be in an ocean of so many costumes.

This all happened a week ago. I accumulate so many photos that it takes me a week to sort through them and edit them. Also, given that this is my fun job, I also have to spend the week catching up with client requests that have taken a backseat.
I have so much fun doing this, but age is catching up. I hope to be fit and healthy enough to keep this up for at least a few more years.
A bit of a meta comment (no pun intended): I posted some of these photos to my personal Facebook page, but left out 99% of the commentary, especially of any feelings of questioning my ability to physically handle this.
Why? It feels like whinging. Nearly everyone who follows me on that platform knows me IRL. Complaining about how tired I am is embarrassing knowing that some of my old friends never got the tools to take care of themselves as well as I have. The social dynamic makes me want to always shut up.
It's weird to be so much less self-censored here, but I do wonder if I'm still imposing on people, but unaware of it.

Today we celebrate Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). We honor our loved ones who have passed away by setting up altars called ofrendas decorated with photographs, marigolds, candles, water and the favorite foods and drinks of our departed loved ones.
@EdS There are "Perrin pseudoprimes" and there are "Unrestricted Perrin pseudoprimes".
271441 and 904631 are "Unrestricted Perrin pseudoprimes", but Arno was talking about the "restricted" versions".

@EdS But certainly the terminology is confusing ... I there there is space in the literature for a well-written definitive presentation of the history, terminology, and current status.
Alas, I'm not the one to write it.

The last update I’d heard before now was them saying they’d found good representation, which is why I was alarmed to hear that apparently they’d found representation but it was in fact not good at all
Oh, man. It seems like whoever runs Nitter is really having A Time
