the correct version of libreoffice to use now is an old one
it's remarkably stable software and the ODF format is fine too
dunno when the slop started showing up. but for now run 25.08 I expect, that was the last version before TDF went really fuckin weird

@nixCraft it kinda follows that if you teach something from a tainted base you get...taint! I think maybe AI needs a bit of sensible censorship of teaching material. Actually I would've thought that would be a basic cornerstone when it comes to teaching ai, children, other sentient creatures that we want to like us in general terms... Maybe those behind their respective ai steering wheels have something other than generally liking us in mind.

@GuitarSith @geoffduncan @ambergrey Working in an otherwise well equipped four track studio in the eighties, we'd put the rhythm tracks down on a stereo pair, use a track for lead vocals and the other for instrumental breaks or backing vocals or (shudder) both.
Sometimes we even overlaid simple keyboard pads during the mix which often required three pairs of hands.
Here's an example, rather degraded by spending twenty years on a cassette before it was digitised. Shame about the kick.
