In all honesty, while I'm old enough to appreciate the memorization of multiplication tables, having lived through them, I'm not going to *necessarily* begrudge the use of a calculator, especially as I launch my HP48 app in RPN to do stuff I should be able to do in my head.

I work through stuff mentally or on paper just to prove to myself "I've still got it", which is a *very* weak flex these days...
