Great stories need great worlds to live in. For a decade I've been working in teams that do exactly that; build, fix, improve worlds for games, create new worlds from scratch for games, tabletop RPGs and more.

This freelance consultancy is designed for teams who want to invest in the world behind their games.

@TheBreadmonkey and compromise the greatest character growth arc of our lives? Fuck that

@Canageek

Thanks! It's online again. I will play around with it when I find the time.

I almost added a /s too just to be safe

(The /s should be clear, right?)

… are you new to the Fediverse? I encounter such arguments uttered unironically virtually every time I browse here - especially in election season.

Thank you for the clown emojis because I 100% thought you were seroius because of how many fools there are on Lemmy that believe that exact sentiment and they aren’t joking. Juvenile fools.

“The five non-voters are the true anarchists who see the violence inherent in the system. Actually the two who voted against driving off the cliff are wrong for even supporting a system in which voters can choose to drive the bus off the cliff. They’re actually worse than the three who voted to drive the bus off the cliff, because they tacitly approve of driving the bus off the cliff just by participating in the system which allows the bus to be driven off the cliff, while fooling themselves into feeling morally absolved of the decision to drive off the cliff! So the non-voters are the only virtuous ones in this situation”

I don't think my #gym routine is quite optimal but I also don't really want to use my brain when im at the gym so I might be stuck with it for a while

The greatest crimes in the world are not committed by people breaking the rules. It's people who follow orders that drop bombs and massacre villages. As a precaution to ever committing major acts of evil it is our solemn duty never to do what we're told, this is the only way we can be sure.

@retrosponge monies that could have been better spent on genuine airborne viruses infections & how to better prevent them & to invest on better air quality measures.
Unfortunately our governments run on eugenics/eugenics enablers!

But the bus driver supports genocide. The whole bus is rotten. We should let the bus go off the cliff and then build a new bus. I’m sure enough of us will survive the crash to build a better bus afterwards. Many people will die but that’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make.

🤡🤡🤡

I don’t disagree. Climate change is bad, and fascism is bad. No argument from here. However, a government that causes less harm is preferable to a government that causes more. This is why voting, alongside a suite of other tactics (protests, strikes, civil disobedience, etc) are necessary if you’re interested in saving lives.

If you’re not, and are willing to sacrifice people on the altar of some hypothetical post-collapse better world, then i vehemently disagree.

…there are ALREADY people being sacrificed…wot?

…you didnt read my comment?

A week ago I tooted my first Hello World on aus.social. Since then I’ve been welcomed like no other platform could. Everyone* has been really awesome and I’m thoroughly enjoying myself here. Special shout out to @Wolfie_Rankin who got me started and answered my early questions on navigating the Fediverse. Also, shout out to @aussocialadmin because one of my toots got a bit popular and that created a situation that apparently needed addressing. Sorry about that. A big thank you to everyone who listened to my music. Music is created by more people than just those we hear on the radio. It’s made in backyards and bedrooms by people all over the planet. And finally thank you to everyone who has boosted, commented, and retooted my silly jokes and bad puns. You have been awesome.
Thank you.

*statistically speaking, pretty much everyone.
