I also have a weird ask for the fedi. I don't know if anyone on here does commissions for Japanese or Korean calligraphy (shodo / seoye - hopefully I got that right).

My initial training was in Japanese Zen and I am currently studying Seon (Korean Zen). I would like to decorate my meditation space with something that is at once appropriate and human made.

Please feel free to either boost this, retag it to reach the right people or reach out to me if you would be interested. My additional goal is to support people who put love and time into their craft.

@dajb "could" and the source is a screenshot of someone over at HN... let's stick to facts here 😂

@zeux @pervognsen Not quite the same thing, but one of my favorite TAS hacks is where they (if I remember correctly) trigger a bug that causes the instruction pointer to run into the sprite table, and with sprite state carefully set up (through jumping around and messing about) it jumps from there to the input buffer.

It then crafts input to stream a short loop of instructions in there as it executes (not that many bytes in the buffer to work with) and bootload anything: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPcV9uIY5i4

The truth is that new oil and gas won't cut household energy bills or boost energy security.

It just locks us into decades more of climate-wrecking fossil fuels.

Let's demand better. https://greens.scot/join

@baldur You get what you wish for 😃

@FediTips
Thanks for your work 🙏

Few arguments about drilling in the North Sea have survived reality. Farage & Badenoch have claimed it will reduce oil and gas prices & improve energy security (it won't). The most persuasive arguments for Jackdaw are that it will boost UK tax revenues, stem job losses from North Sea oil, and that since the UK already relies on natural gas, approving Jackdaw will have no meaningful impact on UK emissions. Put simply, if the UK isn’t getting gas from Jackdaw, we’ll simply buy it somewhere else.

@pikesley they can't start supply that soon either. A platform takes a couple of weeks to start up.

I mean unless you want it to go boom.
