@mike I understand this is non-binding, right.
So is there anything to draw from here on the other questions, asides from perhaps UCP seeing it as a mandate to be stunned? Which they already had .. being elected and all. Top line item (or bottom line I guess) only one of consequence, and went the Canadian way.

Software as Fast Fashion
Clothes have never been cheaper. These days a t-shirt is often cheaper than a decent cup of tea in a cafe. The wonders of capitalism. At least that is how it is often described. And when you point at the underpaid, gruesome labor that people in poorer regions of the planet have…

Personally I strongly dislike whitewashing the past.
People did any number of bad things in the past, and each reference is educational for the young.
Pretending the past had no problems distorts the view of the past conveyed to the young.
We learn from the past. We learn a lot of things to never do again.
And the new reply user interface is a nightmare of unusability. It actually qualifies as being so bad it is user hostile.
Now, there is a whole third of my screen totally empty and unused on the right, and my compose window is jammed into the post I'm replying to so I cannot see it while I write my response unless I open a new Mastodon tab to do that and switch between the two.
@adwright it appears to me as if the interface were designed assuming everyone is using a browser stretched the full length of a modern monitor. It's... fine, mostly, in that context. But on smaller screens, yeeesh, it's not great.
@jwildeboer back to the slogan: did you create this? For I am interested to put this on a T-shirt if the image is cc. Or buy a T-shirt with the image on it :)
@bigbelgianbopper Yes, I created it. It’s CC-0 from my side. No credits needed. If yo DM me an email address, I will send you the SVG with all characters converted to paths.
