- The /e/Foundation and Murena have a history of being reckless with their cloud infrastructure leaving paying customers without email service or file storage for months at a time.
- Gael Duval has a history of having MULTIPLE unprofessional spats with the community; over his vision of equipping /e/OS with genAI features.
- When you try talking to Gael Duval in a respectful tone about genAI in /e/OS he gets snide and blocks you real quick.
- Speaking as someone who has backed his initial kickstarter; bought phones from his company; helped out in the forums when I could; supported his project on Patreon; and previously helped folks flash their phones with /e/OS... I have stopped endorsing Murena, the /e/Foundation or /e/OS for some time now. Im personally moving to SailfishOS.
- The whole thing feels like Gael Duval's pet project, subject to his whims and there is no sense of real project governance; and he has no respect for the concerns of his users. #murena #eFoundation #eOS #Fairphone #E_OS
