For those expecting the Needy Disappointed would deliver us from 'neoliberalism', it seems the radical ten year plan has become a (delayed) 'high level' blueprint which may be less specific than had been envisaged by many continuing to hope the 'politics of trying' might deliver..

Optimistically, this is the result of finding it harder to radically change the UK's political economy than he thought;

pessimistically, the dead hand of Blue Labour has stuck (again).
