I feel like I'm making some extremely basic and embarrassing mistake and I just don't see it.
Can someone with a little R and statistics knowledge check out this script and tell me why the green area in clearly not 46.01% of the total area under the right curve?
Either my power analysis code is wrong, or the plot is wrong, or both.
Context: this is not for an actual data analysis, it's an illustration for explaining the concept of power in statistical tests.
@aesthr geometrically, 46% seems right in relation to the sum of both curves, overlap included. If you plot the curve with the subtraction of the intersect, is the result plausible?
