Senate 2027 Majority Leader Whip Count Detail - Update 11/6/2026
Prospective whip count of 2027 Democratic Senators who are likely to support and oppose Chuck Schumer for Majority Leader. Those listed in opposition have either made public statements that he should be replaced or waffled when asked if they would support him. Those listed as supporters have either stated their support or are pretty solid moderates generally known to be in the Schumer camp.
@david This is from October 28:
"Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) declined to directly endorse Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) as the prospective leader of a Democratic Senate majority, saying during a CNN interview that the decision would ultimately be made by a vote of senators."
