It's interesting to me how the professional political knowers are surprised by the depth and breadth of the rejection of fascism. I think I saw it coming. I think a lot of people in the fediverse saw it coming.
I don't know who first said it, but I guess the old line about people "not understanding things they get paid to not understand" is true to this day.
