@gilduran I don't think JD is slithering away from Trump at all. I think this is a calculated move in an attempt to rebrand Trump's MAGA cult as something it's not and never has been. He thinks he can have Trump's cake and eat it too. And what he hasn't figured out yet, what no one on the MAGA right has worked out, is that there can be only one Trump. And that's Trump. You're either useful to MAGA or you're an enemy. There is no third wheel option.
