An autumn evening along the shore in Beppu, Oita. On our left, a tall leafless tree reaches out over the pebbly beach; on our right, the waters of Beppu Bay are calm. Beyond the tree, lights puncuate the silhouettes of houses lined up along the shore. Further on, mountains lift the horizon into a cloudy sky.
