LOG 10: The Author. The main cast of the book walk towards the viewer, and in the center is Jay Eaton; a person with short blond hair, glasses, and a worried expression holding a pen and notebook. Talita looks down at them, unsure. To the left behind Talita are Tod and Killian, and behind them, peering o see around Talita's shoulder, is Mel. To the right are Cheevwut and Ohwitiil, and behind them are Idrisah and Gillie. Idrisah holds Gillies shoulders and smiles at her, Gillie looks back and smiles too. Behind them is a modular front loader with 3 electrician worms in it. The modular front loader's claw reaches over to make a bunny ears gesture behind Talita's head. Description: Jay Eaton is an artist with a compulsive need to figure out how everything works and why. While their background is in horticulture and evolutionary biology, Jay is also fascinated by speculative technology, culture, linguistics, and all the jobs behind the scenes of civilization that keep the lights on and the water running. They like to spend their time making up elaborate fake places and their people.
