What began as a piano trio has evolved into a more expressive organism. There’s jazz at the core, of a style that incorporates sound design, orchestral instruments, and world musics. Making Peace With My Ghosts was an emotional challenge. The pieces here carry weight. Mistakes, misunderstandings, joy, love, and sorrow all play their parts. Moments of my life hover like ghosts, haunting. I love this album. I hope you will too. Thanks to Angelo Abear for the evocative cover photo. -- Starling Whistler
