I often wonder if people not living in Japan who follow a lot of us (living in Japan) find it weird that we sometimes post "shaking" or similar things.
I did too at first, but it's really the fastest way to inform each other when a quake happens, and how bad (or not) it is, and where it's located. It's actually really useful.
@David It’s also good to hear from our distant Fedi-neighbors during and after a quake. Always worried about the Tokyo-adjacent crowd, they get so many more quakes!
