@nixCraft Yeah, with regulations i have my quarrels with. We need them, no doubt. BUT: On the one hand Altman, Musk and the other suckers demand regulation, but they mean regulation not for them but for the competition. They talk about going too fast and the need to take a slower pace. Why don't they do it then? They're not doing it because they can't, but they're expecting their competitors to do so.
I hope the bubble crashes sooner than later. Hopefulle all the bullshitters vanish with it.

These models don't belong to them, since they were made from stolen data. Instead, these models should be treated like public property, freely downloadable and usable by anyone with the right hardware.
And if these stupid companies claim that it's theirs because of the energy they wasted making them, then maybe they should've thought that risk factor through BEFORE using illegally obtained data to make them.

So many of IT pros/freelance journalists/artists who worked for various apps &websites have lost their jobs over the past 2/3 years to this AI bullshit. And how did these companies train their AI? They trained it on the exact data these creators produced only to fire them afterward. The world is alright, lately I've been reading alot of papers in the Newspaper. But then I worked on a magazine instead, magazines are sort of like a book, I just go there to mellow out. Some magazines like Discover, Smithsonian, National Geographic, Scientific American, Astronomy. These are places were you can hang out alot of their articles are nice. I hope this doesn't leak to something political, just prefer a mellow place, not with alot of people.
